I am in need of proofreaders/editors for my last three years' worth of NaNo novels, with varying degrees of urgency. I can pay a small amount/do paid time/etc.

Basically I need one or more beta readers/proofreaders and editors. I need the following things in particular.

* I need one or more someones who can read over the novel(s) and offer opinions on the novel overall, catch continuity errors, etc.

* I need one or more someones who can catch grammar/punctuation/spelling errors.

You are not required to offer on all three novels.

Here are the novels, in order of editing urgency:

* Delicate Appendages (2009)
What genre: YA LBGTQ SF
Quick plot blurb: Erin is fourteen and ready to start high school. But her life is changed in a heartbeat when she shoves her friend against a fence and tries to get into her pants. Cut off from her horrified friend, Erin goes to a series of doctors to find out what's wrong. The answer is not quite what she expected and leads her to be kidnapped by aliens before she has to resolve things - with the aliens, her best friend, and who and what she is.
Possible squicks: This is a 'messy' novel that deals with sexual and gender identity. There is an aborted attempted rape in the first chapter. And the protaganist has tentacles out her vagina. Mild swearing.
My goal with this novel: To get it professionally published. I've entered it in one contest, I'm going to be entering the Amazon writers' contest, and come March, I'm looking for agents. I'd like it to have some editing and several sets of eyes finished looking at it by end of January.

* Late Bloomer (2008)
What genre: I put it under Horror and Thriller, it may fall under Sf & Fantasy.
Quick plot blurb: Emery's lived her entire life in Hayfork, CA. When a customer comes to pick up his harp, she finds herself embroiled in a search for who she is and the truth about her family's past. In the meantime, there's a war going on between a species of benevolent vampires and their hunters that Emery finds herself smack in the middle of, as both sides want her.
Possible squicks: Well, they're vampires. Energy vampires, to be exact. And there's a possible romance between the protaganist and one of the vampires.
My goal with the novel: Self-publishing through Lulu and release through a website under Creative Commons. Who in the heck would buy a novel with vampires in it currently?

* Sloshing Along the River (2007)
What genre: Post-apocalyptic science fiction
Quick plot blurb: After the end of the world, a young bureaucrat returns home to look for a new job and new meaning to her life, while organizing a neighborhood against a possible invasion.
Possible squicks: Possibly bad Japanese.
My goal with the novel: Post it up on a website, same Creative Commons licence. And figure out how to hide the fanfic origins of the characters (Yeah, so obvious that two of them are Xybrians.)

What I can pay: .0001 - .001 cents/word/novel. That comes out to about $5-50/novel. I can also take volunteers if you really want to proofread/beta-read/edit, but these are 50,000 words a piece....
