Fic: The Boyfriend's All Right (Kamen Rider Kabuto)
I've always liked the relationship between Kagami and Tendou from Kamen Rider Kabuto. Poor Kagami always had a lot to put up with. In this case, I trod the well-worn path of Juka's first date. The Boyfriend's All Right

“Tendou,” Kagami said, squinting a little as the sun threatened to blind him, “Aren't you overreacting a little bit?”
“Overreacting” was probably an understatement, but there was nothing else that Kagami could think of that would describe what Tendou was up to. Juka was on her first date, at an amusement park, and he and Tendou were making sure that everything was all right. Well, actually, Tendou was making sure everything was all right, and Kagami was hoping that Tendou wouldn't go off the deep end.
Juka, perhaps knowing her older brother a bit too well, had asked him to make sure that Tendou didn't do anything... rash. To put it politely. Make sure that her older brother did nothing to get arrested for, because her big brother did have a tendency to be over-protective of her.
“I am not overreacting,” Tendou said, voice more tight than he probably wanted it to be. If Tendou wanted to strain himself worrying about Juka, Kagami certainly couldn't do anything about it. “I am protecting Juka.”
“He's not going to hurt her,” Kagami said. “Really, Tendou.”
Tendou gave him a “are you stupid” look, which Kagami equated with Tendou's paranoid desire to make sure the people he cared about were safe. “Can you be sure of that?”
“Tendou, you interrogated him for a half hour when he came to pick Juka up,” Kagami said. “The poor boy's terrified of you.”
“As he should be,” Tendou said flatly. “For if he treats Juka any less than what she is....”
“You'll tear him apart and use him to feed the seals,” Kagami said. And Tendou would do it, too.
“It would be only what he deserves,” Tendou said, his tone tight.
“Juka's safe; she's tough,” Kagami said. “It'll be all right. You'll see.”
Tendou refused to dignify that with a comment, returning to watching the pair. Kagami, sighing, did the same.
