I'm too tired to update the Master post, but I am happy to say that I'm at nearly 28,000 words and there's a good chance I'll hit 30,000 tomorrow. I won't be on IM much - I'm making sure my place is clean before family arrives for the holidays - but I should make my wordcount. Still in Chapter 4.
Well, I think I hit the Inner Editor wakeup point. I'm not sure I have Kagami or anybody else in character right now. I've got more telling than showing (grr). In other words, if I wasn't bound and determined to write 50,000 words this month and was able to put up with the occasional crappy part, I'd be in trouble. We'll see how it goes over the holidays and how much time I have on the 'net.
On the good side, Kagami is training in Shadow. He didn't get much time, I think, when he was TheBee in the series. Here, he gets lots of time, because of course he's not focusing on not killing Tendou. Yes, Tendou should show up at some point, he didn't get more than mentioned today.
I've discovered a new problem. Kagami gave up his Zecter in canon because he didn't want to fight Tendou, but I'm not sure that'll work here, even if I have ZECT try to do nasty things to control Tendou. I'll have to see. It's quite possible that Kagami will be chosen by TheBee Zecter throughout trying to recruit Daisuke.
My slash seems to have wandered off on me, but that's okay. It's mild slash, it can live without a couple of parts of slash in it.
And as usual, I'll have to see how it goes....
