Dear Muses
I am not writing a Kamen Rider Den-O/Hana Yori Dango crossover, or at least not the one you want. This is why:
One, I'm still working on finishing series 1 of Hana Yori Dango. I still have to go through series two. And even if I for some reason set series one in 2007, I still have some problems:
One, we have a basic grasp of the imajin/imagin, but we still don't know who they target. I'm guessing people amenable to having wishes fulfilled. In other words, I'd expect the Nasty Trio to get Imagin, not Tsukasa or Tsukushi. I think both of them are too stubborn to accept wishes from an Imagin. I realize that you can resist wishing even if you're weak-willed (Ryoutarou is one example of this), but I don't think the Imagin would try with either of these two.
Secondly, even if either was amenable to a wish, imagin tend to bring material goods. Do you really see Tsukasa using an imagin to bring him something he could buy by himself? And Tsukushi wouldn't try material good on Tsukasa because it would be silly for the same reason.
A plot would work much better with the Nasty Trio as the unlucky ones, but that would require some work and would not involve Tsukasa and Tsukushi like you want me to. In other words, no, we are not getting a plot involving Tsukasa, Tsukushi, and the Imagin (and, for that matter, Hana, Ryoutarou, and the rest of the Den-O cast).

In other news, to my amusement, I actually found HYD fic on ffn that was decently spelled and had a plot. Scary.

I run into the same problem with Rui (or for that matter any of the F4) that I run into with Tsukasa and Tsukushi. What in the heck could an imagin do to fulfil his wish? :(
(Or at least try; I'm still figuring out how the Bat Imagin managed to completely keep looking for that keyholder when it looked like he had an image of it.)

Now that I think more about it, Tsukasa and an Imagin is not a good combination. He'd probably try to fight it... or maybe use his horrible pun skills on it, for massive damage.

Yeah, we have a lot to learn about the Imagin. I guess we'll continue learning about them, given that we don't know much about them so far.
