For those looking for a new journaling site, be aware that GJ is overloaded and is aiming new users towards insanejournal.

(Scribblit, my favorite, is in beta and has been having DNS problems the last few days.)

And as soon as Scribblit has solved the problem of everybody being redirected to a porn site (or something), they'll open for free accounts, given the recent developments here at LJ. :) See you there!

It looks like [livejournal.com profile] popefelix (staff_kit) might have resolved the problem - it seems to be DNS related.

You would have to check yourself as to which site you are getting, but essentially yes.

(My cellphone was getting the correct site as of the afternoon my time; my home network was getting the incorrect site last night but the correct one this morning.)
