I hate non-useful crossover fics.

I had non-cooperative characters who wouldn't give me the fic they teased me with, so I wrote this.
Disclaimer: Characters belong to BVE, VRP, TV-Asahi, and Toei.
"You're right, I saw it over the screen and I still don't believe it," Hayley said, leaning back in her chair at the Cybercafe.
"Try being there and not sure what you saw," Kira said. She was munching on a granola bar. "I mean, I'm sure what we saw, but...."
"You don't expect a train to show up out of nowhere, deposit a superhero that defeats what you thought was Mesogog's monster, then disappears?" Trent asked, bringing the six of them milkshakes.
"Yeah, what was all that about?" Conner asked. "Not that I'm not glad that it wasn't Mesogog's."
"So, you have any idea of where that train came from and went to, Hayley?" Tommy asked, leaning back in his own chair.
"I'm guessing time/space travel," Hayley said, sipping her own shake.
"So Doctor Who," Ethan said, raising his eyebrows. "But that didn't look like the Doctor to me."
"Hey, the guy wasn't even speaking English!" Conner exclaimed. "But he still axed the monster."
His teammates groaned. "Well, it's not my fault that the guy used an axe and had an axe as part of his mask," Conner said defensively.
"Anyway," Tommy interrupted, "Any chance of finding out more about him? Just in case."
"I could probably find out," Ethan said, tapping at his laptop. "This sounds like something out of science fiction."
"Ethan, half of what we do is science fiction," Conner reminded him.
"I'll see if I can put my rusty Japanese skills to use and look on Japanese websites," Hayley answered. "Worst comes to worst, nothing shows up."
"Want to bet we never see this guy again?" Trent asked.
"Hey, I could do with someone else battling the monsters occasionally. Especially when they're not ours," Conner said.
"In other words, not our concern," Kira agreed. "At least I hope not."
Hayley nodded absentmindedly in agreement. "I hope not too."
Grr. I don't know whether to try to expand/rewrite/ignore this or what.
