Take our governor, please.
Nov. 19th, 2003 04:54 pm(aka: *thud* *thud* *thud*)
Our newly elected Governor (who I did *not* vote for) put out his tax plan. The usual Republican stuff about lowering taxes and such. Which is okay, he is my ultimate boss and he does earn a hand or two for what he's trying to do.
The problem is, is that one of the ways he's looking at cutting costs is to continue the state layoffs. I was this close to being laid off the first time with Davis. I am going to be very not happy if I have to go through it again. (Especially since I am now in the process of shopping for a house/mortgage - what is it with Republicans who choose the worst possible moments to make dents in your life?)
Someone take our governor? Please?
