Somewhere out there, there's a piece of telemarketing/bill collecting software/hardware that isn't sophisticated enough to recognize when it's reached voicemail. (It's really annoying to have part of a message start with part of a phone number because the 'caller' started while the message was playing.) Since this number is on the do-not-call list, I presume this is either a telemarketer breaking the law, or more likely, a bill collector.

At least if it's a bill collector, they'll call back....

(Former owners of my phone number owed a few things.)
I was just thinking of how teenagers write fanfic nowadays, and have been trying to find *my* really early stuff. Well, guess what? I found it this afternoon cleaning boxes out at my mom's place.

So, for those of you who want to see how I wrote at age 14, you can. I only have a fragment up because I need to retype the thing into the computer (it was originally written on my mom's Apple IIc, on Appleworks, back in 1987), but plan to slowly type this thing in so I don't lose it again. Be aware that this was written by a 14 year old, and therefore... um. Yeah. All I can say is that I mostly wrote better than a lot of kids do nowadays.
