estiriseYou're probably wondering (or probably not wondering) where I'm going to end this. Well, I'm in the middle of the 2006 icons now, and we're 2/3 of the way through 2007. So, lots more parts.
So, part 15. More icons, more commentary. This is the last for the night.

Thousand Words
My notes say this is for LJ Icontest #43. I think it was SPD-related. Anyway, it was my first icon with illegible text (which incidentally reads "A picture is worth a thousand words"). I'm not sure I would have used the effect I did on this one, but I like the framing.
Revelations
This icon's a pretty straight screencap with text. It comes from episode 25 of Kamen Rider Kabuto, where Kagami's found a book from 1971 with his name and Gatack linked together. Therefore, it is a revelation,and thus the text. Blue text with semi-transparent white for legibility.
Where You End
I was having problems with the computer using bitmap instead of truetype on the next few icons. This particular one was from a "Circle in the Sand" lyric challenge that I challenged myself with. It's Yaguruma, episode 9, after Kagami gets Gatack Zecter.
Round and Round
Again, Yaguruma from episode 9. I think I lightened his hair a little bit, but otherwise it's a screencap with text, and again, "Circle In The Sand" lyrics.
Don't look back
This time, Kagami and Tendou, circa episode 9. They're not getting along too well right at the moment because Kagami is TheBee and has orders to kill Tendou. Again, when I was stuck with bitmap instead of truetype fonts, though it doesn't look as bad as it could have.
