Well, my antagonist (Nezumi) has decided to hit on my protagonist. Nezumi, as I mentioned, is not exactly straight. Her native language is also Japanese, and she is speaking English far better than I expected. (But then again, so is Naoko.)

The following conversation ensued:
Me: Nezumi, your English is too good considering you didn't move to America yet in this timeline.
Nezumi: Why not? Hashi-chan... er, Bridge-chan taught me English.
Me: (boggling) Bridge is in your universe? Are you sure?
Nezumi: Yes.
Me: Did I pull the right you?
Nezumi: (shrugging shoulders) Dunno.


I'm at sixteen thousand something, hope to get to 17500 before bed.
