Daggeron - Heart
This was a PR Icontest entry, I think a lyrics challenge. It's Daggeron from Power Rangers Mystic Force, episode Heir Apparent part 1. My notes say I did a lot on this one, but it's really subtle. Still, not a bad shot of Daggeron; both of my icons for him look pretty good.
Masumi and Book
This is Masumi and his diary from Boukenger episode 45, per my notes. The coloring is from an overlay of the colored pencil filter. I like this one a lot because of the effect; The dark and grey portions make it stand out.
Sawada End
This is Sawada from the series Gokusen, last episode, where he's just informed (or just informing) three other characters that he's throwing his hat in the ring for Yankumi's love. It's a really good shot of Sawada with a background of his fellow students.
Mutsuki in Light
I'm not even sure which episode of Kamen Rider Blade this is from. I do know the general sequence of events, though. Mutuski had his belt stolen from him. He is influenced by Spider to get it back. This is Mutuski in the background as Kenzaki and Tachibana grieve. I grabbed it because it's such a good shot.
Mausoleum
This was me playing with effects again, making a fairly harmless mausoleum look spooky. This is from a picture I took a while back. I like it, but I'm sure not everybody would.
Uncertain - Mutsuki
I love this shot. I keep having to not cap it again. This is Mutsuki from episode 41. He's preparing to henshin (he's got his belt on and his arms in position), but Nozomi's presence stops him (at least momentarily). I chose the text because he is, if momentarily, uncertain of what he's doing.
Sands of Time
These three are from the same cap. It's Hana and Ryoutarou from episode 2 of Den-O, with different choices of effects and text. And I found I shouldn't try to 'write' with the paintbrush.
A Good Deed - Text and No Text
These two are the same cap, except one has text and one doesn't. The main part of the icon was done in GIMP, while the rest of it (including text) was done in Photoshop Elements. It's from Kamen Rider Den-O, and Ryoutarou trying to make someone's life a little better.
HYD-Kiss
I tend towards Rui/Tsukushi in Hana Yori Dango, and therefore had to cap this picture of Rui kissing Tsukushi on the head in the airport. Since I was experimenting with text, I chose yellow text on top of a blue background.
HYD- France
Rui announces his plans to go to France. Again, I was playing with text and text background. I think the purple in the middle is because I did something with one of the layers to make it semi-transparent with the other.
