This one's a rather short, pretty much one-sided Tsurugi/Misaki fic. Tsurugi's tough to write, but I tried.

Tsurugi had never been able to figure out Misaki, but that was okay. Jiiya counseled him that some things did take time, if he kept trying, something would happen. He knew himself that Jiiya wouldn't mind if he continued his family line, and therefore supported him and Misaki getting together. He had no problem trying and trying and trying, because someday, he'd win her heart like the nobleman he was.
So, he tried to do things right, tried to be the best romantic that he could, and then tried to be a tough guy. Neither approach had completely worked, but saving her from that Worm had certainly gained him some points. All he had to do was find what Misaki loved best, and become the person that Misaki wanted to love.
And then he would marry her, and they would have many wonderful years re-establishing the Discabile family fortunes, so that their children could enjoy the luxury that he had grown up with.
He resolved to ask his best friend Kagami if he had any idea what would get Misaki to pay attention to him. Kagami was a good friend, they'd both lost siblings in the fight against the worm, and he was sure that Kagami would save him, just as he saved Kagami.
Someday, Misaki would be his. And it would be a sweet day, indeed.
