Things I did this weekend:
* I did some tagging, on here and on [livejournal.com profile] estorise. [livejournal.com profile] estorise might have one last post for the evening, for drabble123.
* Wrote fic, but not the fic I expected. Second Son part 5, but no "Useless Things" (maybe Monday?). Other fics too, including a round robin start.
* I worked on "Flights of Fancy" (my OC archive). Alas, it's still not ready for the public.
* I also expanded out my friendslist. If you have me friended, and I've been lurking about your posts and I enjoy reading you, chances are I finally remembered to friend you. I don't really post a whole lot friends-only here, as this is a fic journal. If it's rated, I post it off to my Inksome account, with a link here.

Now for an OC (Original Character)-related meme, under the cut.

Select, manually or randomly, some of your Original Characters. List each one, the fandom they came from, a brief synopsis of their storyline, their importance to you, and if you're still writing them. For bonus points, list stories that your readers can find them in.

Oliver Tilton (Tomorrow People): Oliver Tilton was a Tomorrow Person who was originally supposed to die, but thanks to a goofup by a time traveler, ended up in the future. I like him, but he was kind of minor outside his debut story/stories, Telepathic Ghosts and Mistakes. I might write him again someday, if I continue Tomorrow's Future.

Lucas Scott (Power Rangers): Lucas Scott is Jason Scott's son. He's a second-generation Ranger, the team leader, who is in love with his teammate Teresa. A lot of his later angst is dealing with Teresa's change; he's the shoulder she cries on. I like him a lot because he does try his best. Like most of the Opposites Attract universe, I don't write him much anymore, but I hope to resolve his issues someday.

Vikki Campbell (Earth: Final Conflict): Technically, Vikki had no name and maybe a line in the show, and I gave her a name, personality, and background. In this AU, Ha'gel isn't killed, has a kid or two with her, and founds his own little family/dynasty. I'm kind of trying to forget Vikki, really, so I don't think I'll be writing her again.

Jeremy Boulder (Highlander): A fairly minor Tomorrow's Future character that I'd like to see more of. He's an Immortal, he was planning on being Greer's first teacher, but he kind of got unlucky a few hours after he met her. They later did meet, after Greer became Immortal and had found her own teacher. I'll probably be writing more of him if/when I write more Tomorrow's Future.

Darla Bennington (Earth: Final Conflict): Darla is one of my Earth: Final Conflict RP characters, a bookseller who becomes the head of the Liberation/Resistance in the United Kingdom. I don't remember much of her storyline, other than she was created as a foil for Beckett. I did like her, but I can't write her nowadays, so her four fics are all that exist of her storyline.

Greer Lewis (Highlander): My, my, my. Greer Lewis. She still has fans, and I still love her a lot. She was one of the first Watcher-turned-Immortals of Highlander fandom around 15 years ago. And the girl's gone from Watcher of Immortals to Watching the Tomorrow People evolve. She's no good with a sword - going to get herself killed one day - but at least she's also reconciled with her original teacher and the man that meant to be her original teacher, so maybe she'll get better at the swordfighting.

Marie Brown (Power Rangers): I also like Marie Brown, who was created for a Mary Sue challenge, went on to two RPs and starred in my 2007 NaNoWriMo novel (which was loosely based in the universe of one of the RPs). Marie's original incarnation blew up Lothor's monsters, and then turned her back on superheroing for her career (yeah, bright move). Her RP incarnations were both pyrokinetic. Now the novel rewrite has her completely normal - as normal as she gets, anyway. Her debut story was "More Courage Than".

Konoe Shika (Kamen Rider Kiva (Furry Children universe)): I found it absolutely amusing that I pulled a ton of my older OCs, and then I get one I created this weekend. Shika (being Japanese, "Konoe" is her last name) is Kiyoe's great-grandmother; she died while Kiyoe was pregnant with Aya. She had a love affair with someone other than her husband, the nature of which she refuses to talk about. I have two fics so far with her in them, I don't think I'll write a third because she's just kind of "here's what happened to a female relative of Kiyoe and Aya's whose life might have implications for theirs". (That being said, I've had the muse hint of a sanitized version of her story that might come into Aya's hands.)
