GYWO progress, 2/6/09

So, I'm now at 28,337. That's a little over 11 percent of this year's goal. So far, so good.

I'm pleased to say that I got another sentence award in the last week's sentence competition. The winner this time around was "In any case, we have that appointment with Trees Shortened by a Paintbrush Knife," he reminded his spouse., which won "Best Absurd". (It does make sense in context; it's out of a fic that's posted to Inksome for adult scenes, though this sentence has to do with a kimono fitting - "Trees Shortened by a Paintbrush Knife" is a Fangire.)

I got three fics done (well, sort of) since the last progress note. One is a third fic in the "Child Support" universe. One was a request for Taiga/Tsurugi that... er... didn't quite happen? Well, I need to rewatch Tsurugi's scenes anyway for other reasons. And one was a blind rewrite of an old fic. I expect to have part 2 a bit later on, as soon as I watch a bit more Time Trax online. I'm pleased with this fic because it's making more sense than the original one did in subtle ways.

Future fics look like they'll include more of a fic posting on Inksome (the one that had the "Best Absurd" sentence) - I'm sure my readers would like me to finish the sex scene. Plus, I will write more of "Unofficial Police" and more in the Sagat universe, as well as finally getting past the prologue for "Webbed In", an AU Kamen Rider Blade fic that's been sitting on backburner for about four years or so. ETA: And I've just been informed that Tanaka Naoko will be making an appearance on estorise. She's a Kamen Rider Blade OC.
