Author appreciation day #1: Nalanzu
Nalanzu writes in a good half a dozen to a dozen fandoms, but the most known of her series in the United States is Power Rangers. However, she also writes in quite a few anime fandoms, and has lately been writing in various Tokusatsu fandoms (most notably, Abaranger, Dekaranger, and Kamen Rider Blade).
I met Nalanzu and her fics with the story "Turn Around", which to this day is one of the few Cam/Hunter stories that I like. (She and Starhawk are about the only two that can get me to read that pairing.)
Nalanzu's sense of humor is extremely warped. She draws you into her fics, and it's hard not to read even fics you might not be totally into, or into fandoms you've never met. I read her Abaranger fanfics long before I ever saw Abaranger, for example. She's also very responsible for my Tokusatsu addiction. (Gee, thanks.)
For those wanting to get into either her or her fics, her website is at: http://www.angelfire.com/va3/earthsei/index.html , her fanfiction.net profile is http://www.fanfiction.net/~nalanzu , and her LJ is at
nalanzu.
As a warning, most of Nalanzu's writing is slash/yaoi, so if you're not into slash, you might want to skip reading her stuff.
