Dang idiot hotlinker....

Some bright soul by the name of MattLawless hotlinked a pic from estirose's image gallery onto Rangerboard. (The exact post is apparently http://www.rangerboard.com/showthread.php?p=1544295#post1544295 for those wanting to look- it's the Abarekiller/Nakadai Mikoto pic.)

Unfortunately, I can't seem to log onto Rangerboard to tell this guy that he needs not to hotlink. While I *can* stop hotlinking by a simple control panel change, I'd really rather not do so.

Anybody here still on RB and can send him a PM/U2U?

EDIT: I've gotten somebody to PM him, and also I've changed the image.

But this does remind me to ask a question ... is there a way to track and see if any of your pics are being hotlinked?

The only reason I noticed this was that I was running a weblong analysis program on the log, and that one got hit some 153 times.

I should look into it.

However, first, I might want to enable hotlinking protection. (Which I've found I can do while still allowing me to, say, use pics here from my website on LJ.)
