日本語をあんまり話しません！　英語を話しますください。

(Apologies for my terrible Japanese for anybody who can read that.)

I hate it when my muses forget that my native language is English, and my Japanese is not good, and that they need to enable the translator.

Both Babelfish and Worldlingo agree... you said "The bean jam ball you do not speak Japanese! You speak English."

How close are they? :D

*giggles at translation* I think I must have a typo in that sentence, for it's "(I) don't speak much Japanese! Please speak English."

Well I was about to ask for sure if you thought it was your fault, I mean this is Babelfish and Worldlingo we're talking about, but then I saw whitezeo's post, so I guess that's that. :P

You've got two typos; one spelling and one conjugation mistake. :) Without the typos, it would be, "日本語をあまり話しません。英語を話してください。" The ん in あまり was the spelling typo and when using -ください the verb needs to be in the -て form. :)

Geesh, no wonder the muses enabled the muse-to-author translator in a hurry after that. :) I'd forgotten about conjugating to the -te form with kudasai. (I had to take a small break from Japanese to work on a bit of Swedish; obviously, I need to get back to it immediately after I get back from my trip.)
