I'm alive for things other than NaNoWriMo. Really. And it helps that I need an hour or two to get my NaNoWriMo protagonist coherent after the antagonist kissed her.

Maybe I should write that Trip/Katie fic. Or figure out that Abarekiller/Dekapink plotbunny that's now stuck in my head courtesy [livejournal.com profile] capncosmo. Eh. I'll write about this week's Den-O instead. It might even be coherent.

Needless to say, current RAW spoilers.

Um. Wow.

I've been getting the gist of the episode from various discussions, and... wow.

Yuto is back. I'm not sure why Yuto is back, because his explanation was way beyond my meager Japanese. Does being a singularity point save one from being killed in a time one has already lived? (And I must be misunderstanding his line, because I swear he said "Ore wa toikuiten ja nai da", which sounds like he isn't a singularity point, so I'm so totally confused here.)

I guess he gets to meet Airi fresh next episode, since he's apparently forgotten her? (EDIT: Airi forgot Rider!Yuto too. This'll be interesting.) This is what happens when you mess with your own memories. Yuto is tragically willing to sacrifice everything for the world, and I don't blame Ryotaro for wanting to take those cards away a few episodes earlier.

What's even sadder is, pre his coming back, Deneb didn't remember his former host at all. Deneb, his closest friend in the entire world doesn't remember him. And I adore the heck out of Deneb, but he and Ryotaro seem to be a mismatch somehow. I don't know if it's because he ended up with Ryotaro in the tragedy of (temporarily) losing Yuto or what. In some ways, it's weird because in this timeline, Deneb was apparently Ryotaro's imagin the whole time. Of course, to Ryotaro's POV, he's not at all familiar with being Deneb's host at all, so maybe that's why it seems like a mismatch. (Deneb!Ryotaro was incredibly cute, though. And he does show up on Ryotaro's page on the TV-Asahi Den-O site, and he's cute there too.)

So, Yuto is back, and he doesn't remember Airi, and Kai is still annoying as hell. This'll be interesting.

Now, where did my coherence go off to?

(Okay, I'm not supposed to have watched this yet, but. Shh, don't tell my friend I watched it without her.

It seems like Kai was messing with stuff ostensibly so that he could control time, but he was *really* trying to do was to get Ryou to give up. Ryou is the real problem for Kai, and he was trying to break Ryou's will to fight instead of trying to outright challenge him. Most likely because, Ryou has a *lot* of power at his fingertips, but Kai doesn't go into this. What he *does* say is that he guesses he'll have to attack head on after all, which leads to the fight. It seems as though he was the one making up all the changes, and when Ryou sees through him, he puts it back.

Which brings us to Yuuto. Yuuto is definitely no longer a singularity point. I rewound like, three times, and I'm still kind of unsure as to his explanation, but it definitely is something to do with Zeronos and him using the cards. What I *think* he said is that because the memories are in the cards, yes, they disappear as he uses them, but they're also saved in there, meaning no one can erase him. Except himself by, you know, using the cards. As long as a card exists, so will Yuuto.

And that's what I know. I hope that helps.

Also, I agree completely that Deneb!Ryou is adorable. Like, all the charms he bought? <3<3<3)
