estiriseThe word is "revise". Not "rewrite". We are not rewriting NaNoWriMo 07 from scratch, especially since I'm not interested in publication.
I do know that some characters are going to get only mentions, if not get cut completely. I'm not sure if Greer and Michael have a purpose in the plot other than one scene with Marie. They and Teresa and Lucas might be going to cameos. Rosemarie and Marianne need to have a bigger place. Disa and Keegan aren't really important, and Marie's pyrokinesis didn't go anywhere.
The Owens family needs to be a bigger part of the plot. I need to work on Naoko and Nezumi. Catherine needs to either live or die, ditto for the cats. (I don't know if I want to kill off Spook, though.)
I almost want to rewrite the first scene. I think others need to be revised. I have to figure out if Nezumi's family needs to come in earlier, or if I need to bring the focus back to her yearning to go home.
