Reluctant Host
A little bit on the dark side, but still good. Ryou trying to deal with Ryuuta, with a frame effect around Ryou and some text. I love it because it focuses on Ryou.
Bumblebee - Why did I agree
Bumblebee's my favourite of the G1 Transformers, and I have fond memories of the episode this was taken from ("Sea Change") So, I made an icon. With text, even.
Shapechanger
One of the natives of the planet-of-the-episode in "Sea Change" decided to look a bit more like a Transformer. This was the result. She's actually rather pretty. The text is a bit less so.
Ryou Step Beyond
This is from episode 1 of Kamen Rider Den-O. My notes say "Various lighting effects, text", so I presume I did something. Really, I think I like this icon is becuase I did a really good job on the text; it fits the rest of the icon rather well.
Rainbow Gateway
The text is kind of hard to see here; it reads "Gateway". This is Ryoutarou from Kamen Rider Den-O episode 1, coming back into the real world. My notes say the icon contains text, lighting effects, blurring, and crosshatching. I can see the crosshatching. I like it because the doorway seems a bit cockeyed.
Determination
This one's fun. It's Kin!Ryoutarou chasing after a bus in episode 12 of Den-O. Ryoutarou later said he enjoyed it, but it did get Kin in trouble with Owner. (Well, the ignoring the Imagin bit, not chasing after the bus.) The icon has blurring and crosshatching, which works really well here. The only thing I could have done better is made the text a slight bit smaller so the first letter of the text was a bit more visible.
The Gift
My notes say this is Den-O episode 1, but I think it's episode 2. This is Tetsuo, the bully and first Imagin host of the series, getting his gift from his mom in the altered past. Tetsuo is the bottom layer, which was converted to black and white with a blue tint, while the background is the top layer, and text on top of that. I have mixed feelings about this one, but right now I think it worked out pretty well.
Fractured Friends
I was a bit too experimental on this icon of Ryoutarou talking to Tetsuo's gang in episode 2 of Den-O. Let's leave it at that.
False Friends
This is Miura and Ozaki, around episode 19, I think, of Den-O, watching Yuuto put too much sugar in the coffee. I have no clue what effects I used here. Text is kind of weird.
Blade - Echo
This is from a commercial for something for Kamen Rider Blade, with Kenzaki in Blade Jack form. It's the first of fifty icons I did for a challenge for an Insanejournal comm.
