Looking for a fic....

Maybe someone will remember reading this one.

It was part of a fanfic project/universe called "The Ordinary People" (I think), which told the stories of people with mutations in the X-men universe.

The story involved a woman that rarely spoke. She was going to a store, and she spoke for some reason, and the shopkeeper told a customer that he'd been waiting to hear her speak for a long time. Apparently she had the voice of an angel.

Does anyone remember this fic?

I remember the archive; it was the Common People Project, and it was hosted on Subreality.com. Unfortunately, it looks like that was one of the archives that was lost after the death of Kielle a couple of years ago.

This site (http://www.comicfic.net/misc/) looks like it has some of the TCP stories, or you might try the Wayback Machine to recover the TCP Warehouse or Subreality itself to find it.

Awesome. I've been wanting to track down a story from there about a girl who had wings that were too small to fly with. Maybe I'll be able to find it.
