I will soon be the owner of a Tandyvision One, courtesy a seller on Ebay. It will cost me all of 9.99 plus shipping. (A Tandyvision is essentially an Intellivision sold by Tandy/Radio Shack in the late 70's/early 80's - http://www.8bit-micro.com/Tandyvision.htm has a good picture or two of a Tandyvision) Now all I have to do is make sure it works, and buy it some games.

Since the Tandyvision is a fairly unknown variant of a fairly unknown (in this day and age) video game system, it's not that expensive on Ebay, and easier to find listings for. (Try searching "Intellivision" on Ebay, and you'll get scads of cartridges, overlays, official re-releases, and so on... it's hard to find a console in there, and they aren't cheap when you do find them.)

Once I get some cartridges (I think I'll go for Utopia and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons to start with), I should be wallowing in nostalgia. And it will go nicely with my circa-1985 Apple IIe.

Cool! Tandyvision. Those were the best games. I still have not only my original Atari 2600, but also a Colecovision I inherited from my cousin. That latter comes out from time to time just so I can play the 1982 version of Pac Man (best game ever).

Should we ever actually get to meet, I challenge you to a game of Utopia. I loved that one!
